1. For lips that are baby-soft, prep your lips by brushing them lightly with a toothbrush to get rid of rough, dead skin.
   
   
2. Smooth lip balm or Vaseline onto your lips and let it sink in for a few minutes.
   
   
3. Using a lip pencil (in a shade as close to your natural lip color as possible), line the lips along the edge of your lip line for definition. Outling with lip pencil also helps to prevent bleeding of the lip color.

4. Apply lip color on the lips. Using a lip brush for this - instead of applying straight from the tube - will give you better control. Blot off excess with a tissue.
   
   
5. Dust a thin layer of pressed or loose powder to set the color and apply another coat of lip color again.
   
   
6. Apply a coat of sheer lip-gloss in tinted pink or an iridescent shade over the lip color to plump up the lips for that extra pouty effect. Alternatively, a dab just on the center of your lips will do the trick as well.
